Founded in 1959, the Institute of Molecular Biology at the University of Oregon is an interdisciplinary research community dedicated to investigating biological questions at the molecular level. Our collaborative and interactive Institute has a long and rich history of bringing together scientists from the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. We are gathering this autumn to celebrate 50 years of scientific inquiry and community and invite alumni and friends of the Institute to join us. The program, open to the public, will feature a symposium of 17 outstanding speakers who were members of IMB as undergraduates, graduate students or post-doctoral fellows. The breadth of the program is a testament to the IMB as a training ground for scientists at all stages of their careers. Please join us for a memorable gathering of colleagues and friends.
